전보경은 사진, 설치, 영상 등 다양한 매체를 통해 ‘비예술인’의 신체와 기억을 시각화 함으로써 예술과 비예술 사이의 이분법적 경계 짓기를 거부하고 그 사이를 넘나드는 행위를 통해 예술을 재정의 하고자 한다. 타인의 세계는 체현된 ‘몸’을 통해 실체화되는 순간, 그(녀)의 이야기는 긴 침묵의 공백을 깨며 발화하기 시작한다. 이를 통해 작가는 예술과 노동, 미학과 비미학의 관계를 “다시-쓰기”하고 있다.
개인적 활동 외에도 ETC와 Z-After 시각예술 콜렉티브의 창립자이자 맴버로 활동하고 있다.
Bokyung Jun uses various medium such as photography, installation and video. The artist crosses over the dichotomic definition of art and non-art by visualizing the non-artists’ bodies and memories to redefine the realm of ‘art’. The moment when the world of others is substantiated through the embodied body, his(her) stories start to speak out breaking the void of silence. Through such practice, it does ‘re-write’ in the relationship between art and labor, aesthetics and non-aesthetic. She is also a cofounder and member of artist collective teams, ETC and Z-After.
