'Back to the Future: ○□★△×' 는 2012년 인천스페이스빔의 국제레지던시 ‘Nightwalkers in Incheon’의 결과물이다.

The ruins of this city were discovered in 2097 when the government ordered the construction of Rose City. The 6 experts(Joris Lindhout, Lee Saem, Jun Bo Kyoung, Jin Na Rae, Yoo GwangSik, Jung Sang Sup) involved in the analysis of this archeological find published a research report on their finds entitled '○□★△×' (Circle, Square, Star, Triangle, Cross). While digging, the team found a suitcase containing notes, photographs, maps and newspaper clippings amongst other things. After a first analysis of the material it seemed the suitcase and its contents had belonged to a female translator who dedicated her life to urban activism. There was no doubt that this material would form an important foundation to understand the old city’s culture, politics, economy and religion, and that it could even hold the key to understanding the reasons behind its destruction.

The one-hour long walking tour is based upon this report. People assumed that they are living in 2097, and take a tour to the ruins to guess the rise and fall of the city. This tour is not only provided with a professional tour guide but also theatrical performance to give a new experience to the audience in everyday life.
